CHEERS!!! We are Brian & Katrina Bossany. We are award winning wedding photographers here in the Twin Cities and the Owners of Wild Trail Studio. Before we started Wild Trail Studio, Brian was shooting under the name Brian Bossany Photography. Every year we ended up turning away hundreds of couples because we were booked for their wedding day. It broke our hearts that we had to say no to so many couples. We believe in every problem there is a creative solution. That is why we created Wild Trail Studio. It is an extension of our hearts to offer an incredible experience to all our couples and also have a team of creatives to work along side with.

We expect all employees to carry themselves with the utmost professionalism to uphold the high standards of the company. Personal attitude, as well as appearance, are expected to be carried at high level
Treat every guest as if they are the paying client. These are the most important people in our couples lives so we will serve them well. Make your lasting impression a good one!
Excellent doesn't come easy. We work hard for it and expect anyone working with us to do the same. This means no sitting around, playing on the phone, and always striving to get better. Never lose sight of the fact that this is one of the biggest days in our couples lives.
Shooters are expected to have their own gear, as Wild Trail Studio will not provide any. Photography gear should include a professional DSLR/Mirrorless camera system and at a minimum 35 mm, 50 mm, or appropriate zoom lens and flash.

Calandar
All Wild Trail Studio Affiliates will be required to keep a shared calendar with up-to-date availability to be used for scheduling purposes. Google Calendar or iCal are required. Simply make yourself as unavailable on days with prior obligation is enough. There is no need to explain or request a day off. If you aren’t free, we will simply assign someone else. If you fail to properly update your calendar and are assigned an event, being unable to work the event could incur a financial penalty
Lead shooters can be expected to be assigned to an event 6-12 months prior to the event date. This allows proper time to communicate with the couple and to photographer the engagement session if they have one. (Pro shooters only). Once assigned, you will be emailed a confirmation.
Second shooters can be expected to an event at a minimum of 1-2 months prior to the event date. This allows proper communicate with the lead shooter. Last minute -non emergency schedule changes resulting in a shooter not being able to work the event could incur a financial penalty

Brian and I met in the fall of 2001 on the first day of college at North Central University in Minneapolis. We both liked each other the entire school year, yet we did not realize that the other shared those same feelings until later on that spring. Brian invited me to work at a summer camp in his home town. As soon as we got to camp for the summer we started dating!
We got married the summer of 2007 in Duluth, MN. Brian is my
co-adventurer in life and best friend. Brian and I love to travel and we have been blessed to go on many adventures together. We have back packed all over Europe for a month, went to Aruba, Hawaii, Dominican Republic, and all over the states.
Brian and I have been enjoying our current adventure of raising our three beautiful children: Eli, Asa, and Greta. We are excited to travel with them too! Brian and I enjoy running our photography business together and occasionally I get to photograph weddings with Brian.

We love going on adventures as a family and enjoy doing anything in the outdoors together. In the new year we are looking forward to: a road trip to Florida this spring, travel to California to visit family and the beach this summer, and hikes together through the woods in our backyard. Our oldest, Eli, is 8, he enjoys science, and he is loving 2nd grade. Our middle, Asa, is 6, he gets along with everyone, and he is rocking kindergarten. Our youngest, Greta, is 4, she loves dancing in ballet class and she likes preschool. It is a joy to watch them grow and family time is everything to us.

Shooters are welcome to use any footage he/she captured at a Wild Trail Studio Event for marketing purposed 60 days after the event
Payment
We aim to pay all shooters of the event within one month of the event. If you book a date we will send you a 1/2 of the agreed upon payment amount. We are trusting you to hold the date
Editing
Shooters are not responsible for editing what they capture at an event. Memory cards handed over at the end of the event, delivered to the studio the following business day or uploaded to our online portal
Solicitation
Shooters agree not to solicit couples, past, or present, at anytime for any reason

We believe in investing in our people. When you get better, we all better. As an important part of our team, we will be giving you exclusive training to help you better succeed. Mentoring is something I generally charge for but as a valued member of our team it will be provided at no cost.
Level Up System
Our affiliate shooters are all placed in our 1-6 leveling system with 1 being the best Wild Trail Studio has to offer and 6 being an eager, brand new shooter excited to soak up as much information as possible. With each level comes new responsibilities, new expectations and better pay! It also gives you a clear picture of the areas you need to grow in order to level up. This isn’t just any 2nd shooting gig. This is a growth opportunity. Shoot with us, learn with us and grow with us.
Choose your path
Being an affiliate with Wild Trail Studio gives you freedom of choice. Want to keep running your own business and shoot with us on the side? Perfect. Want to exclusively shoot as many weddings as possible with and nothing else? Awesome. Or maybe you even want to work towards a full-time position. We can all work towards that as well. This program will work as hard for you as you do for us.
